Waratah Counselling provides personalised in-person counselling care for individuals seeking a caring, authentic counsellor.
General Counselling
A counselling session is usually provided for a 60-minute duration. Extended sessions may be available through collaborative discussion with your counsellor.
Concessions and payment plans are available. We understand that your circumstances are unique and encourage you to discuss any difficulty with finances.
General counselling is offered for the following.
Anxiety.
Uncertainty or overwhelm.
Stress management.
Depression or depressive symptoms.
Life Transitions including adapting to change, work or study challenges, parenting, loss, grief and health related concerns.
Health issues including women’s health, sleep concerns, alcohol and substance use.
Coping skills and emotional behaviours.
Cognitive challenges.
Self-identity or self-worth.
Developing Boundaries.
Our goal is to create a supportive environment where individuals can freely explore their concerns while examining the impact of values, behaviours, and beliefs.
We thoughtfully consider how personal experiences shape our ability to foster positive responses and cultivate healthy habits, all while enhancing emotional and mental resilience. Therapy sessions are person-centered and may involve a blend of evidence-based theories to suit you as the client.
Please note we do not provide reports or letters.
