Cultivating Hope, Empowering Health, Discovering Purpose.
Welcome, we are glad you are here….
Welcome! We are so glad you are here. You may be thinking about making some changes in your life or trying to make sense of your current circumstances, please know that you don't have to face it alone. You might just need the right counsellor to listen with compassion and understanding to help you find hope and clarity. If you're wondering whether counselling could help but feel unsure or nervous about reaching out, or if you've tried counselling before and it didn't feel like the right fit, know that it's okay to feel this way.
Take comfort, you are not alone. Making the first step is often uncomfortable, but it's a courageous and important step towards your well-being.
We are here to support you in this journey. We invite you to discover a counselling session where we can explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential space. Together, we can work towards understanding and overcoming the challenges you are facing, learning skills to build confidence, embracing healthy wellbeing and developing meaningful relationships.

The essence of Waratah Counselling…
The Waratah flower blooms in Spring reminding us of seasonal changes and renewal, it is a symbol of strength, healing, courage and resilience. Originally from the Eora Aboriginal word ‘warada’, meaning beautiful or seen from afar, the Waratah flower demonstrates that when we pause, beauty can be found, and seen, even from afar.
At Waratah Counselling our approach is that each person is seen and recognised as uniquely designed on purpose for a purpose. The circumstances of our lives may sometimes be difficult and unexpected, creating uncertainty and at times a sense of hopelessness, but with empathy and non-judgement, we endeavour to walk beside you and provide an opportunity for healing, renewal and growth.
